IIT is the dream destination of every student dreaming and aspiring to become an engineer, but IIT-JEE exam is that barrier where the student will be tested for his passion and preparation for it. It is one of the most difficult examinations at 10+2 level, one need to be excellent in all subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is the most prestigious examination in the country happens to be one of its kind that is able to judge the real talent of a student.
Giving you my personal example, I would say there are various factors due to which I made it to IIT-Delhi in my very first attempt. Preparing oneself mentally for IIT-JEE is the first and foremost requirement of the exam. I made up my mind to crack IIT-JEE as soon as I entered into 11th standard. I had thought that come what may, I would make it to IIT at any cost.
I would suggest you to follow this:
IIT-JEE preparation requires continuous and determined efforts. Each subject must be given proper and regular time. Instead of preparing one subject for some days then other subjects, all the three subjects must be given time each day. It helps in breaking monotony as well. In today's competitive era, proper guidance is needed for success. The pattern of JEE has become concept based completely. So you need clear and doubtless concepts in each and every topic, to achieve a good rank in JEE.
I always followed one key concept while preparing for the exam -“Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.”
I would say Revision is very important in order to get a good rank. There have been many good students who are able to complete the syllabus by January but do not give that importance to revision and consequently they fail to make it into IIT or don’t get a good rank.
Do complete your studies by the end of January (All the three subjects should be completed by the end of January or at most by the mid February), and try to give as many tests as you can. Joining test series program is not a bad idea. After each test evaluate yourself. Try to find out your weak areas, and then do research on those weak areas. I had also joined FIIT-JEE AITS (All India Test Series). Believe me; this will help you a lot. If any student preparing sincerely for IIT-JEE or AIEEE follow these points, I am pretty sure that he/she would definitely get through.
Kaysons Education has come up with a novel idea of offering completely video-interactive- resources and video solutions for preparation of IIT-JEE. At Kaysons, any student can schedule a session with an IITian for various services offered like Video solutions/video tutorials, video lectures, ask a problem, test analysis where a student can know where he is weak for one and two years respectively. I would say this is going to be very useful for IIT-JEE real aspirants.
